Driftwood and Turquoise

Happy Friday!

I'm ending this week with turquoise inspirations!

A color I get mesmerized by from simply just living here along the coast of Florida, I feel it only fitting to present a room inspired idea board, fueled by the sights of ombre styled tropical waters, with beach findings of sand colored wood and smoothed down glass throughout!

If you're going to make your living room the place to hang, this room inspo mockup is where I think you should start!

One of my currently "crushing hard on" designs available in my shop, I started off this Driftwood and Turquoise themed hangout space with my Prism Waters Throw Pillow, centered in the mockup above.

Personally, it wasn't as hard to find other home elements same in color: narrowing down the selection of choices available out there to include in this look was challenging.

I didn't want to go too little or too much, crowd the space or not give it enough accents.

In the end, I settled on this look, as I think these findings are essential to creating the finished look.

I couldn't pass up an all turquoise couch: that had to stay!

Also, the starfish bowl, cylindrical end table, and seahorse wiring art for added touch!

To help balance out the palette, sand colored elements of driftwood and twine, such as the round wall mirror, wicker style reading lamp and hanging ceiling light fixture, woven ottoman that can double as a small coffee table, soft white area rug, glass bottle vase with rope wiring on the outside, and an endless backdrop of beach, as seen from the framed landscape photography wall art!

And featured below, of course, my turquoise colored throw pillow that helped to create the look:

Inspired by turquoise? If creating a beach coastal style living space look around a single color, what color would you use?
